Peter Yelkovac
Pete Yelkovac is Of Counsel to the firm. An experienced attorney for more than 25 years, Pete works full-time as President of a well-respected ancillary healthcare company located in Indiana. As a corporate executive, Pete is equipped to provide practical and legally sound solutions to clients of Sacopulos, Johnson & Sacopulos.
At Sacopulos, Sacopulos & Johnson, Pete focuses on ancillary healthcare, cyberlaw, contracting, software-as-a-service, employment, and employment law and litigation.
In addition, Pete has a broad and deep knowledge of federal and state administrative law, constitutional law, and local government law. Pete previously represented more than two dozen public school districts as their lead attorney. He has also represented international, regional and local corporations on employment and labor matters. Pete has also litigated dozens of lawsuits to a successful conclusion in federal and state appellate and trial courts. Further, Pete has a long record of prevailing on behalf of his clients in many administrative investigations and hearings.
Education
Peter earned his Master of Law in 2010, at the University of Cambridge, in the United Kingdom and his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1994, at the Valparaiso University Law School , Summa Cum Laude.
Prior to getting his doctorate degree, Peter attended Indiana State University, with a Bachelor’s in History, Summa Cum Laude in 1991.
